The annual BBQ has been a popular attraction to Telkwa village, itself, is center around the two rivers, a riverfront walkway, some character buildings with historical references and two scenic hiking trails the Aldermere and Riverbend Trails. 

Located within walking distance of the downtown village and nearby neighborhoods is the Telkwa BBQ Grounds, where you will find beautiful grounds with manicured baseball diamonds, modern buildings, kiddies play park,  and the coolest demo derby arena !

Every year the Bulkley Valley Kinsmen host the Telkwa BBQ, which brings together the whole region.
